Good quality leather shoes can last you a long time if you care for them properly.
1. Coat your shoes in some kind of sealant or protecting agent. Do not dry your shoes or boots directly in the sun or close to a direct heat source such as a fireplace or oven. Caring for your shoes does not take too much work and the results are well worth the effort as it significantly extends shoe life.
